Over half of 2013 has come and gone. We have been pleasured to some good movies, bad movies, action packed blockbusters, more unnecessary remakes, and everything else in between. While I certainly hope critically acclaimed films such as Fruitvale Station, Stoker, Mud, and more linger around for Academy Award contention, what about whats left to come? Typically the films boasting the biggest Oscar buzz get their release as the year winds down and 2013 will foreseeably be no different. Keep in mind that this list is only presenting 10 films of many potential candidates. Some of the films listed could disappoint us all stumbling out of the gates as an uninspired flaky mess while something completely overlooked sweeps us off our feet. I certainly hope none of these films flop anyway as they all appear fantastic. But One must never forget a golden rule in cinema though which is that great trailers do not always guarantee a great film.. Nevertheless I feel fairly confident enough that my 10 films presented will all find success.
